« TMP01_LS » est un tabouret trépied qui présente un aspect brut et naturel, il met ainsi en valeur la matière où le temps s’exprime à travers son caractère. Cette pièce assume la beauté des imperfections de l’acier comme une célébration de sa transformation au fil du temps. Le piétement entre en harmonie avec le coussin d’assise en peau naturelle à poils courts vers une uniformité subtile, à la fois visuelle et tactile. La structure d’assise a été façonnée par un forgeron, compagnon français et maître artisan.

Ce procédé est obtenu par un vieillissement au sel d’oseille et à l’eau de pluie pendant plusieurs jours, l’oxydation est ensuite saisie par cirage. Cette rouille devient un véritable marqueur du dialogue entre l’objet et son environnement. Les pieds élancés, reliés à l’assise par des sections plus fines, donnent à la pièce une impression d’apesanteur pour créer une silhouette aérienne. Ce jeu de proportions confère à la pièce un équilibre visuel où la délicatesse de la forme dialogue avec la force du matériau. Le crin de cheval en poil véritable, élément signature de l’objet, crée cette interaction toute particulière.

‘TMP01_LS’ is a tripod stool with a raw, natural look, highlighting the material where time expresses itself through its character. This piece embraces the beauty of steel's imperfections as a celebration of its transformation over time. The base harmonises with the seat cushion in natural short-haired hide to create a subtle uniformity that is both visual and tactile. The seat structure has been shaped by a blacksmith, a French journeyman and master craftsman.

This process is achieved by ageing with sorrel salt and rainwater for several days, after which the oxidation is captured by waxing. This rust becomes a real marker of the dialogue between the object and its environment. The slender legs, linked to the seat by thinner sections, give the piece an impression of weightlessness, creating an airy silhouette. This interplay of proportions gives the piece a visual balance where the delicacy of the form meets the strength of the material. The real horsehair, the object's signature element, creates this very special interaction.
